PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
White grape juice concentrate is produced from the concentration of juice obtained from the white grapes of the Vinifera variety. The juice is obtained by the pressing of fresh white grapes free from rot and/or fermentation. The juice shall be processed to remove skins, seed and other extraneous matter, enzyme clarified and concentrated.
FDA COMPLIANCE:
The product shall not be adulterated or misbranded within the meaning of the Federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act, including the Pesticide Chemical & Food Additive Amendments to such Act. The processed product contains no residues of any pesticide chemical in excess of the tolerance for such pesticide chemical in such product established under the Federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act.
The processor should obtain written statements from the growers that only pesticides registered for use in the United States of America were used and that no illegal or unsafe residues remain on the crops.
All ingredient components, in-process product, finished product, and food contact packaging shall be handled in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices. The concentrate shall be practically free of foreign matter, off odor, rot, visible mold, insects, and insect fragments.
